We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance and Engineering team.
This role will be based at our Wetherill Park facility & will see you working closely alongside the Maintenance Manager to assist in the management of the plant maintenance by prioritising work requests, assisting with controlling costs and maximising the quality of work. You will lead and support your team to ensure all jobs are completed effectively and in a safe manner.
Your new role will include:
- Managing the maintenance program that includes preventative maintenance, corrective works and responding to breakdowns
- Ensuring timely responses to work requests
- Identifying trends in the regular maintenance issues and reporting to the Maintenance Manager
- Attending to any call outs and assisting in breakdowns to ensure the plant is operational throughout production on a daily basis
- Supervising required contractors as per our contractor management plan
- Observing current work practices and identifying areas for improvement
- Preparing Daily Shift Reports
- Drive continual improvement and RCA
- Driving and participation in 5S

**About you**
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same. You are an excellent communicator and possess strong decision-making skills. Your ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes will see you thrive in this fast-paced role
To be successful in the role you will bring:
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a similar position
- Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Experience utilising a computerised Maintenance Management System, ideally SAP
- Experience BMS / SCADA
- Quality and continuous improvement focussed
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to think quickly, clearly and logically whilst meeting deadlines
- Contractor Management Experience
- Availability for Weekend's and be on Call for After Hrs Callouts
- Ability to Drive Safety in the workplace Accurate Hazard identification & reporting
- Previous experience within an FMCG production environment is desirable, but not essential
