We are seeking an exceptional Head of Mathematics to lead our dynamic and highly regarded Mathematics Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator and leader to shape the next chapter of Mathematics teaching at Frensham. 
Responsibilities 
- Inspire and mentor staff to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. 
- Drive innovation in teaching, learning and assessment practices. 
- Champion Mathematics as a challenging, rewarding and future-focused discipline. 
- Lead a collaborative team committed to supporting students both in and beyond the classroom. 
Position requirements 
- Possesses the appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position. 
- Experience in teaching junior and HSC Mathematics including Extension. 
- Dynamic and effective classroom practitioner. 
- Ability to differentiate instruction and cater for a range of learning abilities and needs. 
- Thorough understanding of the learning process, including the role of assessment and feedback. 
- Understanding what ‘best-practice’ and ‘next-practice’ look like for Mathematics teaching. 
- Experience in managing staff, encouraging, mentoring and supporting them to excellence and building a culture of ongoing improvement and responsiveness. 
- Ability to share responsibilities associated with leadership from a whole school perspective.
