Rotations and Placements
* Trauma and Orthopaedics
* Neurology
* Stroke
* Older People's Services / Care of the Elderly
* Surgery
* General medical
* REACT team (admission avoidance, emergency department and falls/frailty clinics)
* Ipswich West Integrated Neighbourhood Team
* Acute inpatient psychiatry team
* Hand therapy
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver patient‑centred, quality occupational therapy care across acute and community settings.
* Work as part of an award‑winning, progressive and innovative integrated therapies team.
* Participate in band 5 meeting schedules and frequent peer support opportunities.
* Demonstrate good communication and organisation skills, as well as working effectively as both a team member and an autonomous practitioner.
* Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and pursue opportunities for onward career progression through to Extended Scope Practitioner level.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Current Occupational Therapist, Newly Qualified or completing MSc or BSc in Occupational Therapy.
* Commitment to learning and enthusiasm to achieve high standards of patient care.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a large service.
* Commitment to staff development and CPD.
