The Opportunity You will be joining a 305-bed regional referral facility supported by an 9-bed ICU/HDU, delivering care across a broad and interesting case mix. The Anaesthesia department is closely integrated with surgical and medical teams and plays a key role in both service delivery and education. This hospital is a recognised teaching and training site, actively supporting trainees from the Queensland Anaesthesia Rotational Training Scheme and the College of Intensive Care Medicine, providing a dynamic and academic clinical environment. The Department 5 operating theatres 2 procedure rooms Newly developed, state-of-the-art integrated cancer care service Diverse case mix including: Obstetrics Orthopaedics ENT Dental General surgical services Strong focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care Active involvement in training, supervision, and mentoring The department operates as a single, cohesive service, ensuring strong internal support and excellent patient outcomes across the region.
