University of Sydney Law School is seeking application for a Manager, Operations and Executive Services. This role a key member of the Senior Operations team, the Manager, Operations and Executive Services works closely with colleagues across Sydney Law School, University Schools, and central Professional Service Units to support operational delivery. This pivotal role reports to the School General Manager and offers broad engagement across the University’s academic and professional networks. Your key responsibilities will be to: lead the Dean’s Unit team (4FTE) in delivering high-quality day-to-day operational and administrative services across Sydney Law School oversee the design and delivery of service models, with a focus on executive support, communications, governance, and operational excellence lead communication strategies, optimise internal platforms (e.g. Intranet, SharePoint), and drive adoption of digital tools to enhance engagement and efficiency provide strategic advice and operational oversight to support the implementation of key School-wide strategies and initiatives. About you tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Postgraduate qualifications in management, governance, or higher education administration are desirable but not essential proven experience in managing operations, executive services, or governance within complex organisations such as universities, the public sector, or large corporates demonstrated leadership of professional teams, including responsibility for performance management and service delivery outcomes proficiency in enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and content management platforms (e.g. intranet systems) strong stakeholder engagement capabilities across organisational units, coupled with a sound understanding of digital transformation and the adoption of workplace technologies.
