Acting as the 2IC to the Test Automation Lead, the role contributes to strategy execution, team leadership and oversight of Partnering.Key responsibilities include developing and executing automated test cases, maintaining regression suites, supporting continuous improvement of test frameworks, and collaborating across teams to uplift end‑to‑end automation capability. The role also provides input into planning, ensures high‑quality test coverage, resolves defects, and helps guide a specialist engineering and automation team to deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.**A bit about you**The ideal candidate has strong expertise in test automation within large‑scale telecommunications or IT environments. They are skilled in developing automated test scripts, testing a wide range of network technologies, and working across both agile and waterfall delivery models.They bring proficiency in languages such as Java, Python and Ruby, along with experience using tools like Jira, ALM and TestRail. They can design and maintain automation frameworks, analyse results, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
