Collective Play (Eden Academy sister company) is a purpose-driven business designing beautiful, inspiring early learning environments across Australia. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to take end-to-end responsibility for the financial operations of one of our key entities.
Reporting to the Director and Financial Controller, this hands-on role will see you manage accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and statutory compliance. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, accurate reporting and scalable systems within a fast-growing organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* End-to-end Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cashbook reconciliation
* Month-end reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, journals and variance analysis)
* Inventory costing, reconciliations and stock counts (Xero and Unleashed)
* Budgeting and forecasting
* BAS, payroll tax and statutory reporting
* Process documentation and continuous improvement
About you:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or similar
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and deadline focus
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with Xero essential, Unleashed highly desirable
