Client
A new ICG Client, in the Retail Banking Sector, based in Sydney and Melbourne has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on Procurement.
Role
The Analyst will be working with a Partner, and two other Analysts on confirming initial opportunities in procurement and sizing the most material opportunities. This will then progress to defining, scoping and completing a detailed workplan and steps required for 2-3 major initiatives that the Analyst will be accountable for delivering.
Experience
Successful candidates will have the following experience :
Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experience
A detailed understanding of the Retail Banking sector in Australia
Experience in procurement in major organisations
The ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with 3rd parties to optimise the client's cost position
Strong spoken and written communication skills (particularly PowerPoint)
The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actions
Responsibilities
The analyst will be responsible for :
Confirming and sizing cost opportunities in the procurement area
Developing detailed definition, scope and implementation plans for a number of those opportunities
Working with the client to deliver the cost savings identified
