The Position
Based in the Toowoomba office, this role will be tailored to your experience, and will include independent + team-oriented tasks including:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Assisting or leading in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
- Providing tax planning and general business advice to clientele across a multitude of industries
Skills and Experience
- Current and ongoing right to work in Australia
- 3 or more years of experience in an Australian public practice firm
- Completed, undertaking or planning to undertake CPA/CA
- Experience with agribusiness clients favoured
- Knowledge of Xero strongly preferred
- Self-motivated and collaborative
