Your Role
Join the Selleys Operations team in this newly created role supporting the construction of a world-class sealants facility in South-West Sydney.
This position reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for leading electrical, automation, and instrumentation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
This includes planning, design oversight, organisation, and commissioning of various project aspects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write specifications, review, and approve design documents ensuring compliance with project requirements and coordinating design activities with other project disciplines.
2. Manage instrumentation design aspects of the project.
3. Oversee the budget for electrical and instrumentation activities.
4. Identify and assess potential risks associated with electrical and instrumentation activities.
5. Collaborate with various project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
6. Ensure the quality of electrical and instrumentation work throughout the project.

Requirements
1. Hold a qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation.
2. Demonstrate experience in large-scale industrial projects involving automation, electrical, and instrumentation.
3. Proven track record in decommissioning, design, implementation, and commissioning.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Strong project management and people leadership abilities.
6. Familiarity with Australian Standards and Codes.
7. Experience implementing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated manufacturing processes.
