The Role
As Head of Operations (South), you’ll lead a critical function that keeps Tasmania’s water flowing and communities thriving. Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll lead with purpose, shaping strategy, driving transformation, championing safety and inclusion, and fostering collaboration and innovation. You’ll guide a dispersed team across southern Tasmania to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient water and sewerage services, challenging the status quo and creating meaningful change.
Your leadership will be pivotal in:

* A strong sense of curiosity, fostering learning and creative problem‑solving.
* Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
* Commitment to supporting and developing others, alongside your own ongoing growth.
* Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in utilities or similar industries (desirable).
