About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator to join our Commercial team. Based onsite at the venue, this role combines strategic communications with purpose‑driven programs, positioning Qudos Bank Arena as the venue of choice while championing initiatives that make a difference. You will work closely with and provide hands‑on support to the Marketing Manager, assisting with the delivery of marketing, PR, CSR, and sustainability initiatives across multiple channels.


Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate CSR partnerships, the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and sustainability programs.
* Act as the primary contact for CSR partners and facilitate regular WIP meetings.
* Drive sustainability and RAP initiatives, including working groups and reporting.
* Facilitate and coordinate RAP and Sustainability working groups, ensuring agendas, actions, and outcomes are delivered.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.
* Assist in the development of internal and external communication plans.
* Create and edit engaging content for media, social channels, and venue platforms.
* Proactively identify and share positive PR stories to showcase the Arena's unique value.
* Manage media monitoring and reporting, and foster relationships with media outlets.
* Support social media strategy and customer engagement across multiple platforms.


What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in public relations and communications.
* Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of social media and digital marketing best practices, including managing and monitoring social channels.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
* Passion for CSR, sustainability, and community engagement.
* Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and during major events.
* Confidence in facilitating working groups to drive CSR, RAP, and sustainability initiatives.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience creating engaging content for digital signage and venue screens would be advantageous.
