As the Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the Glenfield Fresh IGA store. In addition to overseeing all store operations, your key accountabilities will include:

* Delivering consistent, outstanding customer service
* Creating a high-performing team environment that supports leadership, flexibility, collaboration, and ongoing development
* Implementing performance metrics, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks
* Integrating the store's mission and values into daily operations
* Maintaining a competitively priced and relevant product range that meets the needs of the community
* Ensuring sustainable financial performance and returns to the store owners
* Applying current best-practice principles across all operational areas

You will work closely with the Owners and contribute to both strategic and operational planning to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with key performance indicators.

This position carries significant leadership responsibility and plays a central role in driving continuous improvement across the store. A generous remuneration package will be offered, with relocation support available for the right candidate.


About You

You are a strong communicator and problem-solver, with broad management experience and the ability to work autonomously to meet agreed outcomes.

You bring extensive experience leading diverse teams, as well as coaching, developing, and supporting Department Managers. You have an established track record in a leadership role within grocery retail or a closely aligned sector.

Experience with integrated Point of Sale systems, back-office platforms, scales, PDAs, loyalty programs, and digital compliance tools is essential.

You are currently a Store 2IC or a Department Manager looking for the next step in your career.

You will demonstrate personal drive, ambition, strategic thinking capability, and highly developed interpersonal skills. Proven success in sales & KPI achievement, inventory and asset management, customer service, quality assurance and compliance, and marketing is critical.
