Job Description
We are seeking an Operator Maintainer to join our team.
This role will involve maintaining equipment, collaborating with various departments, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the execution of corrective and scheduled programs in a safe and cost-effective manner while using quality systems to eliminate rework on equipment.
* Maintain a close working relationship with Operations and Maintenance personnel, as well as Production Controllers and other interfacing departments.
* Liaise with the Maintenance Support and Production Engineers to resolve operational issues before they escalate.
* Participate in the planning and execution of scheduled shutdowns.
* Review and provide feedback to schedule build to ensure accurate plans.
* Drive schedule execution to achieve 100% compliance.
* Carry out routine plant and field duties as specified by the daily, weekly and monthly checks and daily schedule through use of Operator Essential Care, including Reliability Management.
Our ideal candidate will have a Mechanical or Instrumentation/Electrical qualification or background and previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Responsibilities
The Operator Maintainer will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the development/updating of standard operating procedures.
* Managing plant shutdowns during unplanned or emergency situations.
* Competently operating/monitoring/maintaining production equipment so that operating life is enhanced, damage is avoided, and production optimized.
* Adhering to Reliability Management Plans & Integrity Management Plans.
* Responding to emergencies in line with the Emergency Response Plan.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Competent use of Information Systems (Computer Software, including Microsoft Office suite).
* Familiarity with Permit to Work processes & equipment isolations (lock out, tag out).
* Operating to a schedule to maximise production.
* Working in both a small team environment and autonomously.
* Being flexible and adaptive to changes in the work environment and equipment.
A Mechanical or Instrumentation/Electrical qualification or background is advantageous, as well as previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
