Warehouse Logistics Manager Full-Time | $120,000 - $150,000 + Super

A well-established national manufacturer is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Logistics Manager to lead the warehousing and distribution operations at their Palmyra-based facility. This leadership position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in logistics and warehousing, ideally within a retail or FMCG environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day and strategic management of warehouse and logistics operations, including safety, stock control, team leadership, and distribution efficiency. A key focus of the role will be overseeing the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) to drive performance, visibility, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all warehouse and despatch activities, ensuring safety, hygiene, personnel oversight, and cost control.
* Lead the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System to improve operational efficiency and stock accuracy.
* Oversee transport and storage logistics, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
* Design and improve warehouse systems and processes aligned with business growth.
* Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including cost monitoring and vehicle utilisation.
* Manage inventory across multiple national sites using FIFO and best practice stock rotation methods.
* Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and UBD monitoring.
* Allocate and coordinate workloads among the warehouse team to meet daily requirements.
* Drive performance against supply and delivery KPIs.
* Conduct audits and ensure compliance with all OH&S and quality standards.
* Provide hands-on support to the team and maintain flexibility in working hours as needed.
What You'll Bring:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse/logistics management, ideally in a just-in-time distribution or retail/FMCG setting.
* Demonstrated experience leading WMS implementation or significant warehouse systems upgrades.
* Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on, team-focused approach.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, freight costs, and drive operational efficiencies.
* Qualifications in warehousing, logistics or supply chain highly desirable.
* OH&S and Quality Assurance knowledge essential.
* HR and forklift licenses desirable.
* Must have full Australian work rights.
