About the Role
* To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry
* Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach
About you
* Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
* You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable
Duties
* Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
* Complete required documentation and reporting
* Respond to residents' queries and requests
* Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
* Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
* Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
* Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
* You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised
