Working collaboratively with teachers, Heads of House and the Wellbeing Student Support Team, the role assists with enrolment, goal setting and ongoing pastoral care, particularly for students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The position strengthens communication between the College and families by supporting meetings, clarifying processes and policies, coordinating interpreting services and connecting families with relevant community resources, while promoting a culture of inclusion across the College.

A great opportunity for a Fixed Term Multicultural Education Support Worker - Part Time to join our positive, supportive and close-knit school environment, commencing on 20 April 2026 until 11 April 2027 to cover a leave position.

The Position
* Title: Multicultural Education Support Worker - Part Time
* Classification: ES 2 Min: $56,579.00 to Max: $72,459.00
* FTE/ Hours per fortnight: .8 FTE - 60.8 hours per fortnight (4 days a week)
* Employment Status: Fixed Term - Maternity Leave cover Category B (school holidays)
* Location: Notre Dame College Knight St or Emmaus Campus, Shepparton
* Start Date: 20 April 2026 to 11 April 2027

You will:
* Support students with enrolment, transition and the development of individual learning goals and pathways.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, Heads of House and the Wellbeing Student Support Team to provide effective pastoral care.
* Strengthen communication between the College and families, including attending meetings, explaining policies and arranging interpreting services.
* Assist families with forms, applications and access to relevant community services and resources.
* Promote cultural inclusion by fostering positive family engagement and coordinating events that celebrate diversity within the College community.
* Maintain professional standards by upholding duty of care, confidentiality, compliance requirements and contributing to a safe and supportive school environment.
