Job Description
As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will proactively engage with customers in‐person and over the phone to uncover their financial needs. You will utilise your expert product knowledge to assist them in achieving their financial goals, refer customers to specialist banking teams such as Home Loans and Business Banking, and coach them on our digital banking offerings. This rewarding role blends sales and customer service and holds accountability for sales and referral targets – all with an uncompromising commitment to empowering our customers to make the most of their money.
Working Hours
This is a full‐time, branch‐based role. Working hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday.
Qualifications & Experience
* Banking experience is ideal, but not essential – your high‐performer energy and unique ability to gauge and nurture strong customer relationships will be key to driving your success.
* Strong experience in a customer‐facing / phone‐based sales role.
* Resilience, tenacity, and an ability to flex – no two days and no two customers are ever the same.
* Proven experience of achieving performance KPIs with an uncompromising commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service.
* Comfortable working with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems.
