Role
Food Services Assistant (also known as Care Services Assistant) – a frontline carer focusing on nutrition and dining to support residents' independent living.
Preferred Responsibilities
* Prepare, deliver, and present resident meals.
* Assist residents with meal selection and timing preferences.
* Set up dining areas tailored to individual needs.
* Engage residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.
* Use empathy and kindness to create a positive dining experience.
* Advocate resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect.
* Maintain accurate nutrition and diet records.
* Follow food safety, Bolton Clarke food standards, and dining framework.
* Maintain kitchen stock supplies.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Demonstrated customer service skills.
* A compassionate and caring attitude.
* Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded).
* Willingness to take direction from others.
* Reliability and shift flexibility.
* Good time‑management skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
* Completed police check.
* NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
