Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical/process or metallurgical engineering, with proven experience in the mining industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing client relationships within designated territories. They will need to proactively engage with clients, leveraging technical expertise, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
The role requires the ability to work independently, identifying and qualifying opportunities that align with industry trends and technological advancements. The Senior Process Engineer will also be expected to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting key markets and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to target key markets and accounts.
2. Manage and expand the sales pipeline through proactive client engagement and lead generation.
3. Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets within the assigned territory.
4. Identify new market opportunities and product applications.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
6. Negotiate terms and pricing to secure deals in line with target margins.
7. Demonstrate deep understanding of physical separation processes, including gravity and magnetic separation.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a streamlined sales process.
9. Coordinate technical discussions, demonstrations, and trials with customers.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process or Metallurgical Engineering and proven experience as a Process Engineer or Metallurgist within the mining industry.
* Expertise in physical separation processes and equipment is a plus.
* Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time independently to meet deadlines.
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
* Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel extensively, including to client offices and on-site visits, with an expectation of 20 weeks of travel per year.
