Pinstripe Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of automation and identification technology to hire Field Service Engineers and Maintenance Technicians to join a growing national team.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for servicing high-speed production and packaging lines—installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial coding and marking equipment. You'll troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and software systems, deliver onsite support and training, and play a key role in keeping Australia's essential manufacturing sectors moving.
Includes travel and participation in a rotating on-call/weekend roster
Career progression into senior technical or leadership roles available
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and commission equipment such as CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA, LCM printers
* Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
* Support customers with technical training and ongoing service
* Collaborate with internal sales and account teams
* Maintain accurate service records and asset databases
* Identify growth opportunities within assigned service zones
What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years' experience in field service, maintenance, or automation
* Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics
* Strong problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
* Exposure to industrial printers or packaging line systems (advantageous)
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel
* A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
