Overview

Are you an emerging media buyer ready to build your skills across multiple channels and work on exciting campaigns? At SPEED, we're looking for a Media Executive/Investment Executive who brings curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for media. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, contribute meaningfully, and gain hands-on experience across the full media landscape. You'll work closely with experienced media leaders to bring campaigns to life, manage delivery across channels, and help drive outstanding outcomes for our clients. If you're proactive, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-moving independent agency, this is an opportunity to accelerate your career.

About The SPEED Agency

We're SPEED – a proudly independent media agency where creativity meets precision and agility drives success. Our team partners with a wide range of media owners – from global platforms to emerging partners – which means our people gain broad exposure across the entire media ecosystem. At SPEED, your work matters. Your ideas are heard. And your development is something we actively invest in.

Why You Should Apply

Learn Across the Entire Media Landscape

This role offers hands-on experience across TV, Out of Home, Radio, Podcasts, Display, BVOD, Social, Print, and Online Video. You'll gain exposure to both offline and digital channels, building a well-rounded investment skillset.

Grow Your Media Buying Expertise

Work alongside experienced Managers and Directors who will mentor you through campaign implementation, financial processes, reporting, and media negotiation.

Real Responsibility, Real Impact

You'll play a key role in ensuring campaigns run smoothly — managing budgets, maintaining accuracy across media plans, and supporting the delivery of impactful client campaigns.

Work in a Collaborative, Agile Agency

At SPEED, collaboration is at the core of how we work. You'll be part of a tight-knit team that shares ideas, supports each other, and celebrates great work.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Media Executive, you will:

* Support the implementation and management of multi-channel media campaigns.
* Evaluate media partner proposals and assist in building media recommendations.
* Manage campaign delivery across channels including TV, OOH, radio, display, social, BVOD, and more.
* Maintain accurate media plans, budgets, trackers, and financial documentation.
* Ensure campaign implementation aligns with media plans and client objectives.
* Produce clear and insightful campaign reporting with support from senior team members.
* Monitor campaigns across channels, ensuring delivery and performance standards are met.
* Coordinate with media partners on campaign materials, schedules, and delivery requirements.
* Work closely with internal teams to support smooth campaign execution and optimization.

You'll Also Be Expected To

* Maintain strong attention to detail across all financial and media documentation.
* Manage campaign timelines and ensure efficient workflow across multiple projects.
* Build strong working relationships with media partners and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute updates and insights during internal WIPs and planning discussions.
* Identify opportunities across the media landscape and bring forward new ideas.
* Continuously build knowledge of emerging media platforms, industry trends and be curious of AI and emerging technology.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates with different backgrounds, but here's what would make you a strong fit:

* 12–18 months experience in a media agency or similar role.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* High attention to detail, particularly with financial processes and campaign implementation.
* Confidence communicating with both clients and media partners.
* A curious mindset with a strong interest in media, the evolving media landscape and utilizing AI.
* Ability to analyze proposals and support media investment decisions.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Experience with planning and research tools such as eRam, VOZ, or MOVE is advantageous but not essential.

What We Offer

SPEED gives you access to a fantastic range of benefits including:

* Flexible work arrangements and hybrid working.
* Professional learning and development through SPEED School training programs.
* A comprehensive wellbeing program including yoga, meditation, Pilates and mindfulness.
* Morning coffee made by our in-house barista plus daily breakfast, snacks and refreshments.
* "Springsteen Day" – an annual wellbeing day to focus on what makes you happy.

Ready to Accelerate?

If you're ready to build your career in media investment and want to work at an agency that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous learning, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now and join a team that's passionate about creating impactful media solutions.

Please note: Applicants must have valid Australian working rights. The SPEED Agency is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
