Are you good at multitasking and willing to integrate to be the pharmacy point of contact for a clinical service?The Campbelltown Hospital Pharmacy Service has an exciting opportunity for a Grade 1/2 Pharmacist to join the team. See our amazing new facility and department and be part of our change. We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist with a "can-do" attitude and a solid work ethic, who has experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.The position requires a proven knowledge of therapeutics, as well as excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to help optimise medication management for patients and carers. This role would suit pharmacists who have an inquiring mind and are keen to further improve their will be rotational positions and you will work with clinical leads to develop and deliver clinical services to specialist areas to ensure the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines.What You'll Be DoingThe Grade 1/2 Pharmacist provides of a wide range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of the hospital, including dispensing, distribution and manufacturing services with a primary focus on clinical services and advanced practice. Promotion of both safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy and Participation in quality improvement and professional development, as well contribution to education and supervision of other staff and students is also required.Where You'll Be WorkingCampbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged-care services. It also features specialised Mental Health and Cancer facilities. Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.The hospitals share a close-knit, community-focused team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, and compassionate care.
