About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team here at Campaspe Shire Council. The Manager Strategic Assets is responsible for, but not limited to, the management of plant, fleet, facilities, and building maintenance, providing key input into strategic and operational asset management decisions across the organisation.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Manage the successful delivery of strategic asset outcomes including the asset management framework and systems.
* Assist the relevant service coordinators to develop planned asset maintenance and asset renewal programs, through the utilisation of Council's asset data systems and valuation data.
* Oversee plant and fleet to ensure the efficient and effective operations of council's fleet of plant, vehicle and equipment assets.

With well-developed leadership and people management skills you will efficiently promote change, provide the team clear objectives, and deliver outstanding outcomes through people.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive experience in Asset Management.
* Demonstrated experience in the analysis of business practices to identify sustainable strategic efficiencies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, set priorities, plan, organise and work independently.
* Valid Driver's Licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
