About the role
Administration Employee - Illawarra at Illawarra Mercury. This casual role is to be available to work Monday and Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, across six aged care centres (IRT Tarrawanna, IRT Woonona, IRT Marco Polo Woonona, IRT Marco Polo Unanderra, IRT William Beach Gardens – Kanahooka, and IRT Five Islands – Port Kembla). You will provide high-quality administrative support and help foster a welcoming, supportive community by anticipating residents' needs and supporting the local leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
* Booking appointments
* Performing data entry and general administrative tasks
* Providing information to residents, families, visitors, contractors, and staff about IRT services
* Representing IRT in a positive, professional manner to create a welcoming environment
To be successful you will have
* Demonstrated experience in administration or customer service
* High level customer service experience and skills
* Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise to meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability and coordination skills
* Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
* Proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
* Current driver's license
