Regional Group Australia are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland.

Key responsibilities:
* Conduct the servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Regional Group equipment including trucks, dozers, graders compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.
* Work within workshop rules and regulations at all times.
* Liaising with direct managers, supervisors and managers daily.
* Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.
* Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards.
* Adopt and continue with Lean practices to ensure quality and cost efficiency with all repairs and maintenance.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Current drivers licence (HR preferred but not essential).
* Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
* Confident in all aspects of Plant repairs.
* Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
* Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspension.
* Basic auto electrical knowledge.
* Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.
* Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done.
* Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
* A team player who is action focused and result-oriented, who quickly comes up to speed on repairs and priority breakdowns.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
