Exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Officer to join an Industry Leader & drive positive safety outcomes and coordinate all aspects of Worker’s Compensation and Injury Management.
**About the Company**
Our client is regarded as a World Leader in their Industry, providing innovative solutions for their customers across a broad range of Industries within Warehousing and Logistics.
Due to internal movement, a role has become available for a Work Health and Safety officer to support the NSW business. Providing support and advice to a broad range of stakeholders across sites to manage workers’ compensation and injuries.
**About the role**
Reporting to the WHS Manager you will be responsible for:
- Proactively manage workers compensation claims, liaising with treating doctors, insurance companies and rehabilitation providers, to ensure the injured workers return to work
- Managing payroll for up to 15+ individuals
- Processing invoices for payment
- Lodgement of work-related claims including end to end claim management
- Maintain current incident, injury and hazard reporting
Follow up on return to work certificates, medical certificates and documentation
**About you**
Ideally, you will have min 2 years in a similar role, looking for a role where you can grow working with a team that supports one another.
- Previous Injury Management and Return to Work Coordination experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Be motivated, positive and strategic minded
- Be well-organised, adaptable and have a can-do attitude in every element of your role
- Have an eye for detail and ability to follow processes
