What you'll be doing

The Oral Health Therapist provides dental therapy and dental hygiene care to patients within the limits of their formally attained scope of practice.

Selection Criteria

* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist.
* Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills.
* A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
* Evidence of continued professional development in evidence based dentistry.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals.
* Proficient in the use of computer systems, word processing software and clinical software and hardware including electronic patient records and digital imaging.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the team.
* Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
