Main Responsibilities:
Daily Operations:
* Receipting and reconciliation of trust accounts on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Processing rent, bond, and expenditure payments in a timely manner.
* Ensuring compliance with trust account regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
End-of-Month and End-of-Year Processes:
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly statements and reports.
* Supporting the annual compliance audit by ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
Skill Requirements:
* Previous experience in trust accounting, preferably with commercial understanding of GST aspects.
* Strong knowledge of trust account compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Confidence in using real estate software (e.g., Re-Leased or PropertyMe).
* A team player with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
