Overview
Experienced Physiotherapist required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff, including other Physiotherapists and cover a mixed caseload.
Location & Travel
Early October – mid December
Flight & accommodation provided. Up to $**** (incl. GST) will be reimbursed for one-way travel.
Accommodation can be provided for the length of contract.
Daily flights to Brisbane and Townsville, and direct flights to Cairns.
Hours
Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day)
Locum rates up to $72 + super depending on experience
Caseload
Inpatient adult & paediatric wards and ED, outpatient adults and paediatrics – caseloads can be discussed pending experience. This will be split between the clinicians.
Working in a rural generalist role with Senior Clinicians of the same discipline.
Team & Community
Working amongst the multidisciplinary team which is young and dynamic. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events like wine festivals, balls, markets, and sporting events. They even hold an Allied Health Ball every year to celebrate all Allied Health Clinicians in North West Queensland. There are gyms and outdoor walking areas.
Qualifications & Credentialing
Credentialing to be completed before you commence. I can assist with this.
Experience in mixed adult & paediatric caseload preferred.
