About the Company: An established and rapidly expanding specialty retail brand is seeking a commercially astute Retail Operations Lead to drive operational excellence across a growing store network in Australia and New Zealand. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for translating strategy into seamless store execution. You will oversee new store rollouts, operational frameworks, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives — ensuring stores are set up to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a Retail Operations team, setting clear priorities, accountability, and ways of working Act as the key operational escalation point across a multi-site retail network Oversee end-to-end new store openings (planning, construction, fit-out, launch, and post-opening optimisation) Deliver network-wide operational projects within scope, budget, and timeline Streamline store communications to ensure clarity, structure, and realistic prioritisation Develop and implement SOPs, operational tools, and scalable frameworks Partner cross-functionally with Retail, VM, Marketing, Buying, and HR teams Analyse store performance data (sales, shrinkage, trends) to inform operational decisions Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and commercial performance To be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring: 5 years' experience in retail operations Must have multi site experience Strong project management capability, particularly in store rollouts or operational transformations Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, timelines, and performance metrics Confidence influencing stakeholders Experience in high-growth or fast-paced retail environments Strong analytical skills and confidence working with reporting and data Experience in retail construction, fit-outs, or store expansions (highly regarded) Strong communication skills What’s In It for You: Join a high-growth retail business expanding its footprint across Australia Career progression opportunities as the network continues to scale Competitive salary package and staff benefits Contact Jenny Hiep on (jhiep@fourquarters.com.au) with an updated resume.
