A highly regarded, boutique client-side project management consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing Sydney team.
The business delivers high-quality projects across education, health, aged care and institutional sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects end-to-end, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery from early planning through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities Lead full project lifecycle delivery from feasibility, design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and close-out Manage project planning, programming, scheduling and risk management Oversee consultant coordination and design management to ensure alignment with scope, budget and quality objectives Manage contractor procurement, tender evaluations, negotiations and contract administration Control project budgets, cost plans, forecasting and reporting Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and compliance outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant safety, environmental and regulatory requirements Ideal Experience Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a client-side consultancy or property development environment Strong understanding of design and construction delivery processes Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar construction projects Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, professional environment Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager seeking greater autonomy, project ownership and career progression within a respected consultancy environment.
