Following the Victorian Government's announcement that LaunchVic and Breakthrough Victoria will be brought together into a single entity, this role will lead key policy and governance workstreams to support the establishment of the new organisation. The role requires critical analysis of data, assessment of risk, preparation of high-quality strategic advice and written products, and strong people management capability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Main Accountabilities * Develop policy frameworks aligned to defined organisational priorities * Identify and respond to new and emerging strategic issues impacting the operating environment * Develop briefs on highly complex issues that provide options for decision * Implement endorsed strategic policy within the functional area * Provide authoritative expert advice on complex issues within area of responsibility The Team The Policy Manager role sits in the Industry, Trade and Investment Group within the Innovation and Commercialisation Review Project Management Office. The Industry, Trade and Investment Group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness.
