Overview
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing maintenance and defect rectification across multiple lifestyle villages, newly completed residential and commercial projects. This role ensures all client reported issues are assessed, prioritised, and resolved efficiently while maintaining strong communication with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams. The position requires a solid understanding of construction processes, building standards, and warranty obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, assess, and prioritise defect and maintenance requests from clients
* Coordinate trades and subcontractors to complete rectification works
* Maintain accurate records of defects, warranty claims, and rectification timelines
* Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding maintenance progress
* Monitor subcontractor performance and follow up on outstanding items
* Provide regular reporting to management on defect trends and recurring issues
* Assist in improving defect‐prevention processes across construction teams
Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of residential/commercial building methods and materials
* Experience in construction maintenance, defects coordination desired but not essential
* Excellent communication and customer‐service skills
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
