We are seeking experienced and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering person-centred supports and ensuring the highest standard of care for individuals living with disability.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will provide direct support to clients, including assistance with personal care, administering medication in accordance with care plans, and supporting daily living skills and community participation. A person-centred and strengths-based approach is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
* Administer medication safely and accurately, following individual care plans and documentation requirements
* Support clients to achieve their personal goals and maintain independence through tailored, person-centred support
* Assist with daily living tasks, community engagement, and social inclusion activities
* Maintain accurate records and adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in disability support, aged care, or a related field
* Proven ability to deliver personal care and administer medication
* Commitment to providing person-centred, respectful, and professional care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications and Screening
* Certificate III (or higher) in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent preferred
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Working With Children Check
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
