About The Opportunity
The Specialist Palliative Care Service is based on the Long Jetty Health Care campus and requires a permanent part‐time, dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) to work across the Central Coast. The CNS2 role provides clinical care at different locations, including hospital patient referrals for our consultation service, Intake/Triage work, and community visits to homes or RACFs. The role works with other team members to support clients and their families through to end‐of‐life care and death. The position is varied and interesting and requires solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and eMR, strong communication skills, relevant clinical experience and problem‐solving abilities. A comprehensive orientation program is provided.
A current Australian driver's license is a prerequisite. Work hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, plus weekend and on‐call shifts covered by most staff on a rotation basis.
