Join Us as a Direct Care Worker (Residential) – Make a Real Difference in Residents’ Lives
Are you ready to bring compassion, care, and support to older people in residential care? We’re seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support as part of our dedicated multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing direct client services to residents within the Residential Care Home.
- Work collaboratively with health professionals under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.
- Deliver respectful and compassionate care that enhances the wellbeing and quality of life of residents.
- Exercise judgement and initiative in daily tasks, ensuring the best outcomes for residents.
What We Are Looking For:
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the role.
- Proven experience delivering direct care services in a health-related field.
- Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled individuals.
- Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A commitment to teamwork, empathy, and person-centred care.
