We are seeking an experienced Account Manager – Ingredients to drive strategic growth across AustChilli's puree ingredient portfolio. This commercial role focuses on new business development, account expansion, and long-term value creation within industrial and B2B customer segments.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will play a critical role in expanding AustChilli's presence as a preferred ingredient partner to food manufacturers, processors, and industrial customers.
This role goes beyond day-to-day account management. You will be responsible for identifying and converting high-value growth opportunities, executing channel/customer strategy, and working cross-functionally to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Executing and refining the industrial ingredients growth strategy
* Identifying, targeting, and converting new strategic B2B customers
* Owning and managing a structured, forward-looking sales pipeline
* Leading end-to-end business development from opportunity to contract
* Growing existing accounts through range expansion, volume, and margin initiatives
* Leading pricing negotiations and commercial reviews
* Developing deep customer relationships across Procurement, R&D and Commercial teams
* Collaborating with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to support trials, innovation, and delivery
* Maintaining best-practice CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and reporting
About You
You are a commercially astute B2B sales professional who thrives in complex, value-led selling environments and enjoys building long-term strategic partnerships.
You will bring:
* 7+ years' experience in B2B, industrial, or ingredient sales (food or FMCG manufacturing preferred)
* A proven track record in new business development and strategic account growth
* Strong technical understanding of food ingredients and manufacturing applications
* Developed commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Confidence working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong capability in CRM systems, forecasting, and sales reporting
* A degree or diploma in Business, Food Technology, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential)
