Software Developer
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative software solutions and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate business requirements into effective software solutions, ensuring alignment with technical standards.
* Develop, maintain, and refactor in-house data extract/transformation console applications and web-based workflow management tools.
* Foster a collaborative team environment by contributing to software development standards, performing code reviews, and maintaining version control.
* Act as a technical resource for server-based third-party applications within the team's scope, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting as required.
* Monitor daily performance events and address any issues to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
* Conduct systems analysis and recommend improvements in policies and procedures to enhance operations.
* Safeguard operational integrity by ensuring the confidentiality of information.
* Work with the software architecture/technical standards working group to develop policies and procedures, focusing on architecture.
* Contribute to the development of the software product roadmap, offering design and product recommendations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering role, with a strong focus on SQL/LINQ, Blazor, or third-party enterprise software applications.
* Proficiency in C#, SQL (Microsoft or PostgreSQL), and Visual Studio; experience with Blazor or ReactJS is a plus.
* Proven experience in creating and maintaining API interfaces.
* A commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with the latest development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
