Lead site teams and deliver high-quality high rise residential and mixed-use developments for a leading Sydney property developer and builder.
Our client is a leading Sydney-based, property development and construction group delivering high-quality residential, mixed-use and build-to-rent projects that shape great urban communities.
With a strong and growing construction pipeline across NSW, they are seeking an experienced and hands‐on Foreman to join its construction team. This role is critical to the successful day‐to‐day delivery of projects, providing on‐site leadership, coordination and quality control.
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Foreman will be responsible for supervising trades, coordinating site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with program and quality expectations.
Years of Experience:
5+ years (site-based construction experience)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site labour
* Planning daily works and ensuring tasks are completed to program
* Managing site activities to maintain productivity and workflow
* Coordinating deliveries, materials and plant on site
Quality, Safety & Compliance
* Ensuring all works are delivered to required quality standards
* Enforcing WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
* Conducting toolbox talks, safety inspections and pre-starts
* Identifying and resolving site issues in a proactive manner
Program & Reporting Support
* Assisting with short-term programming and look-ahead schedules
* Reporting progress, issues and delays to the Site Manager
* Supporting defect management and quality inspections
* Assisting with project milestones through to completion
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Foreman on residential and/or mixed‐use projects
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
* Ability to lead, motivate and manage subcontractors effectively
* Solid knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS requirements
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Hands‐on, organised and outcomes‐focused approach
* Trade background preferred
