We are excited to announce a rare opening at ORCA Swim Schools for a valued team member. An awesome and skilled employee has moved on to pursue new dreams, and we are now looking for a replacement swim teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team, as we only hire a few times per year.
If you are looking for a few shifts per week without the commitment of a full-time role, this position is ideal.b We offer structured shifts - at this time we have 4 on offer that are well-suited for parents looking to re-enter the workforce, supplement their income (especially with afternoon shifts), or for university students seeking flexible hours.
What we are looking for:
* A long-term commitment (many of our team members have been with us for 3+ years).
* A genuine desire to work with children and a passion for teaching them water safety skills in a fun environment.
* Working with Children Check must be obtained within 30 days of starting.
* Australian Work Rights are required for this position.
Experience and Training:
* No experience? .No problem. .We provide comprehensive, paid training and guidance every step of the way.
* Already qualified? .Fantastic .We will still provide paid training to ensure you are proficient in teaching our specific ORCA lesson methodology.
Our Commitment to You:
We provide a stable, inclusive, and supportive environment. .Our roster mostly consists of regular hours with the occasional fill-in shift. .We do not ever expect nor require permanent rostering on both weekend days unless specifically requested by the team member. We also offer various perks which can be discussed during the interview stage.
