About The Role An opportunity exists for an experienced Electrician to join an Operations & Maintenance team at a utility-scale solar farm located in Queensland’s Central Highlands region. This is a hands-on field-based role responsible for supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a large-scale renewable energy asset. Key Responsibilities Your duties will include: Perform preventive, predictive, corrective and proactive maintenance across site electrical assets Work across LV and HV systems including AC/DC cabling, PV modules, strings, combiner boxes, inverters, transformers and substation equipment Support maintenance planning and ensure procedures and switching instructions are followed safely and on time Assist with HV switching operations for isolation and energisation of electrical assets Essential Requirements Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent) Current Australian Electrical Licence High Voltage Switching Operations training Experience developing and working to SWMS Strong background in electrical maintenance across industrial or utility assets Experience with inverters, transformers, PV systems and BOP equipment Ability to work independently in remote site environments Benefits Competitive salary package Company vehicle and fuel card All tools and PPE provided Birthday leave Paid parental leave Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Corporate discounts and lifestyle benefits Ongoing training and career development opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment How To Apply To apply, please submit your resume via SEEK using the “Apply” button.
