Roster & hours
* 7:7 roster - mainly day shift only
* Thursday/ Wednesday rosters patters
* 6:30am - 6:30pm
The role and duties
You will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include;-
* Perform maintenance and repairs on range of ground support heavy machinery
* Often diagnosing and fixing hydraulic, and electrical issues
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs where necessary
* Adhere to safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
* Machinery - Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters, Agi's, Volvo Loaders and light vehicles.
Your value
* Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel
* Previous experience working on UG hard rock mining machinery (highly regarded not essential)
* High level of skill performing diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
* Ability to work autonomously and attend to breakdowns
* Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical
