The School of Engineering at the Australian National University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Level B) position to work on novel electrochemical materials and systems.

As a research-focused institution, we seek an exceptional researcher with expertise in micro-manufacturing and industry-compatible techniques for metal deposition. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing our understanding of electrochemical materials and systems, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for real-world problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A PhD in Materials Science or Chemical/Electrical Engineering with a strong background in micro-manufacturing and industry-compatible techniques for metal deposition.
* Advanced skills in electrodes micro/nano-fabrication and characterisation.
* Demonstrated experience in screen printing, including metal paste/ink preparation and screen design.
* Sound knowledge of metallisation techniques (e.g., Electroplating, Electroless plating, Physical vapor depositions).
