With significant national growth underway, Assemble is seeking a Senior Corporate Affairs Manager to lead strategic communications, government relations and reputation management across the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly strategic role with broad exposure across media, government, investors, planning authorities and the executive leadership team.
About the Role
This role will play a critical part in strengthening Assemble's external positioning, supporting strategic growth priorities and driving engagement across a complex stakeholder landscape.
* Leading strategic communications and corporate affairs initiatives
* Managing government relations and public affairs activity
* Developing executive communications, strategic messaging and stakeholder engagement strategies
* Managing media relations, issues management and reputational risk
* Supporting external positioning across major housing and development projects
* Monitoring policy, planning and regulatory developments impacting the sector
* Partnering closely with executive leadership team on strategic initiatives
About You
You are an experienced Corporate Affairs, Communications or Government Relations professional who thrives in commercially and politically complex environments. You may come from:
* Property or Real Estate
* Infrastructure or Development
* Financial Services or Superannuation
* Government or Public Policy
* Strategic Communications or Corporate Affairs consulting
To be successful, you will bring:
* Strong experience across corporate affairs, communications and media relations
* Government relations and policy engagement capability
* Excellent writing and executive communication skills
* Experience managing media, reputation and sensitive stakeholder matters
* Strong commercial judgement and political awareness
* A collaborative and adaptable leadership style
