Create your best future and join Product Manager. What's the role? This role sits within the Originations & Servicing Village, in the Consumer Mortgages Line of Business, in the Apply and Verify team. You'll focus on improving how mortgage applications are assessed, verified and progressed, using AI, automation and data‐driven decisioning to reduce manual effort, improve time to decision, and lift customer and broker outcomes. Working end‐to‐end, you'll shape initiatives from problem definition through to delivery and benefits realisation. You'll partner closely with Technology, Data, Risk and Operations to turn complex mortgage and verification problems into clear product outcomes and build solutions that are scalable, explainable and safe. This is a full‐time, permanent role based in Sydney, with flexible and hybrid working available. What do I need?
Responsibilities
* Strong product experience working with engineering and data teams on complex, technology‐led initiatives
* AI/ML capability is critical — a practical understanding of how AI can be applied to decisioning, automation, document verification and analytics (hands‐on development not required)
* Confidence translating business needs into clear technical requirements, including data flows, integrations, model inputs/outputs and non‐functional requirements
* Mortgages and lending knowledge, particularly origination and verification in a regulated environment
* A strong risk and controls mindset, with an understanding of explainability, model monitoring and human‐in‐the‐loop decisioning
