Casual Labourer Assistant – Major Industries Restoration
Location: Belconnen, ACT 2616
Position: Casual (8 hours per day with lunch break)
Dates: Ongoing work casual work
Hourly Rate: Competitive + relevant entitlements, including penalty rates, overtime, allowances, and superannuation
About Us:
Major Industries Restoration specialises in insurance restoration services, handling fire, flood, mould, and other damage claims on behalf of insurance companies. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality restoration services to our clients and are currently looking for a Casual Labourer Assistant to join our team and support our qualified Restoration Technicians.
The Role:
This position will involve assisting our experienced technicians in the field. The role is ideal for someone eager to gain experience in the restoration industry while providing essential support to the team. While it's not a building site environment, you'll be involved in hands-on tasks that are crucial to the restoration process.
Key Duties Include (but not limited to):
* General labouring tasks
* Cleaning and remediation works
* Working alongside experienced Restoration Technicians
* Lifting and manual tasks are required
Hours:
Work hours will be between 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a casual position with ongoing work for the right candidate.

* Physically fit and able to handle manual labour tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
* Ready to take on various tasks with a positive attitude
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* IICRC accreditation (Water, Mould, Fire)
* Background or knowledge in building and contents restoration, or cleaning/carpet cleaning
