Senior IT Support / Service Desk Specialist
AIM Mining Corporation operates the Warrawoona Gold Project near Marble Bar and is advancing our Nullagine Project in the East Pilbara. With our Head Office in West Perth, we are expanding our Information Technology capability to support operational growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands‐on Senior IT Support / Service Desk Specialist to join our team and play a key role in delivering reliable, high‐performing technology services across both corporate offices and remote mining operations.
You will be the senior escalation point, mentor junior support staff, work across infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments and help drive the ongoing improvement of IT operations across the business.

Key Duties
* Providing support across infrastructure, systems, networking, Microsoft 365, end‐user computing and operational technologies
* Acting as the escalation point for critical incidents and complex troubleshooting
* Supporting remote mining operations and corporate users across a rotating site roster
* Leading Service Desk operational maturity, ticket quality and support standards
* Mentoring and guiding IT team members
* Assisting with infrastructure upgrades, deployments, patching, disaster recovery and project delivery
* Supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, VPNs, networking, wireless, servers, backups and communications systems
* Working closely with operational stakeholders, vendors and technical specialists
* Driving continuous improvement across IT support processes and service delivery
About You
You are a technically strong IT professional who enjoys ownership, problem solving and working in fast‐paced operational environments.
You will ideally bring
* Proven experience in a senior IT support or Service Desk role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, infrastructure and endpoint technologies
* Experience supporting remote sites, mining, industrial or multi‐site operations
* Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, wireless networks, servers, backup systems and identity management
* A customer‐focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to remain calm and effective during outages and critical incidents
* Experience mentoring IT staff and improving support processes

Roster & Travel
This role operates on a rotating roster across two remote mining operations and the Perth corporate office.
* One week onsite at Warrawoona
* One week onsite at Nullagine
* One week based in the Perth corporate office
