The community organisation based in Southern Queensland is a leading provider of legal advice and advocacy services across the region.
Job Role:
* As a Legal Advocate you will be the first point of contact for people seeking assistance from our service, gathering information and working with clients to identify and action their support needs.
You will work closely with volunteers, social workers, advocates and lawyers to triage incoming enquiries and provide referrals to internal and external services. This role requires a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach, along with attention to detail and a commitment to developing knowledge of our services.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also assist with training volunteers and provide back-up coverage for reception and administrative tasks as required. This position can be based in Toowoomba, Roma or Goondiwindi with some travel between offices for training and service coverage.
