Sydney Investment Banking Contract or Temporary Our client is seeking a Corporate Access Analyst to support their team for a 12-month maternity leave contract in Sydney. Position Summary: Corporate Access fulfills a hybrid function, advising corporates on their investor relations strategies (including M&A, IPO and non-deal roadshows) as well as providing investors with access to company management teams through company visits, field trips and conferences. The team works closely with Equity Research, Equities sales and trading, FICC, Investment Banking and the Financing Group / Corporate Broking. Responsibilities : Assistance with event coordination and execution for Australia Corporate Access, including liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., research and sales etc), as well as confirmation of corporates and/or clients as required. Responsibility for scheduling events (for example corporate group meetings or expert speaker meetings), confirming details, setting up events in system, opening / closing events, ensuring accurate attendance and cleaning and reporting data. Communication with internal and external clients and stakeholders, including corporates. Team administration and execution support including logistical meeting arrangements (in-person, Zoom), interpreter arrangements, car arrangement for bespoke trips and onsite tours, hotel booking, food arrangement, invoicing, and other requested tasks. Skills: Experience/Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, Strong analytical, communication and organization skills The ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines while managing a large number of projects running concurrently Detailed oriented and proven abilities to work in a team A good working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint is important A general understanding of the Equities market would be helpful Skills and attributes to include: Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines while managing a large number of projects running concurrently Ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure – and to be thinking ahead to avoid issues before they arise Ability to resolve problems quickly and manage conflicts of interest between different parties Enthusiastic and motivated team member
